Rocky Mountain National Park – 3M Curve

3M Curve is one of the gold standard intimate wedding locations in Colorado. What you can see from here is truly and awesomely epic. While in most views you can see a couple of mountains, from this vantage point you can see Pierson Mountain, Gainttrack Mountain, Eagle Cliff Mountain, Lily Mountain, Twin Sisters Peak East, Estes Cone, Emerald Mountain, Longs Peak, Mt. Lady Washington and many others. And entire mountain range is on display. Whether it is a clear day, a misty day, a snowy day or a cloudy day the view from here is always something to behold. There are no restrooms here but there are some at the Beaver Creek Visitor Center about 3.5 miles back down the road. There isn’t any cell phone service here either so coordinate your travel with guests and vendors in advance. There is a short rocky path that leads from the parking area to the ceremony site. And you can get to it by going around either side of the large rock formation. People are likely to park here and walk around, but no one is likely to disturb or pass by the ceremony. There is an additional parking area about 100 yards downhill if the main pull off lot is full. Elk are a common sight in Estes Park and just about anywhere inside of the park. This includes the roads, so be mindful of the speed limits and keep a watchful eye out for wildlife. There is a $25 vehicle day pass required for all vehicles entering Rocky Mountain National Park regardless if you have reserved a site or not.
